I told stories and shared pictures from &#8220;<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"Eight Years to the Moon (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/gp\/product\/162414490X\/\" target=\"_blank\">Eight Years to the Moon<\/a>.&#8221; What made the night extra special was the very special guest who joined me: engineer Earle Kyle. Image courtesy Amy Atkinson. <\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Also joining the fun were several <a href=\"https:\/\/solarsystem1.jpl.nasa.gov\/ssa\/home.cfm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"NASA\/JPL Solar System Ambassadors (opens in a new tab)\">NASA\/JPL Solar System Ambassadors<\/a> (of which I am proud to be among!) My fellow SSAs  Dee McLellan, Ron Schmit, Elizabeth Treat and  Nadia Abuisnaineh hosted hands-on activities and displays (including lunar samples from NASA) and answered questions about space and space exploration.
