New York Daily News Op-Ed

I was honored to be asked to submit an op-ed to the New York Daily News in honor of the 50th anniversary of Apollo 11. I knew I wanted to highlight that it took the efforts of over 400,000 people to make landing on the Moon possible, and how so many of those people worked completely out of the limelight, and have never received the recognition they deserve.

As it turned out, what I wrote ended up in the print edition as well as online (something I wasn’t expecting), so my thanks to the editors at the New York Daily News for not only printing the op-ed, but also choosing a great headline and accompanying photo.
